Payment terms
In France, the default payment term between businesses is 30 days after receipt of goods or performance of the service; if agreed, it may not exceed 60 days from the invoice date or 45 days end of month (Article L441-10 of the Commercial Code). Late payment triggers penalties and a flat €40 recovery fee, and exposes the debtor to administrative fines.
