A free digital commons helping small organisations turn good intentions into a roadmap they stick to, with others and close to home.
Where it started
The idea for Greencelium grew out of the approach of the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat (CEC): business leaders who reorient their company to make it regenerative, within planetary boundaries. More than 3,400 decision-makers have already taken its programmes.
These programmes are intense, held in person and run by cohorts: not everyone can join at the moment they need it. Greencelium wants to give every organisation a free, multilingual way in to the same ambition, and give alumni a place to carry on.
Greencelium is an independent project with no institutional link to the CEC.
The problem
Since the Omnibus directive of February 2026, most small businesses and SMEs are no longer subject to the CSRD. Yet their customers, their banks and their teams still ask them for evidence: a questionnaire, a VSME standard, a trajectory.
There is no shortage of resources: public services for compliance and funding, tools to measure, networks and programmes to transform. But they are scattered, often designed for larger organisations, or need time and a budget that a small organisation does not always have. Many business owners are left alone with the same question: where to start, and with whom?
Our answer
Greencelium brings together in one place a readable method (reduce, contribute, regenerate), an assisted roadmap, shared knowledge, a peer forum, a directory of local actors and companions, volunteers or professionals.
We do not redo what others already do well: we point to it. The platform links public resources, networks and local actors to each organisation’s roadmap.
Explainable rules sort the actions into three phases; an AI hosted by Greencelium drafts them in your language. You stay in control and track progress.
Business owners and experts, volunteers or professionals, review your roadmap and share their experience, as equals. Each one states their terms before committing.
What Greencelium connects
Each family of actors covers part of the way, and does it well. Greencelium does not take anyone’s place: like the mycelium that links the plants of a forest, it links them to each other and to each organisation’s roadmap.

Greencelium
A roadmap that points to the right resource at the right time: peers and companions to move forward, a public service for funding, a programme to go further, a tool when it is time to measure. And a forum, shared knowledge and local actors so that what works can spread.
Indicative positions, October 2026: many actors have a foot in several boxes.
Who we work with
Greencelium complements what exists. Here is how we fit in with the families of actors most useful to small organisations.
Free. Everything that helps you act stays free, with no hidden paid feature.
Frugal. Lightweight pages, no third-party trackers, designed according to the RGESN eco-design framework.
AI hosted by us. The model that drafts the roadmaps runs on our own servers; your data does not go to an AI provider.
People first. Every account is validated by a person, and the rules come before the AI.
The right words. No promise of carbon neutrality or “positive impact”: we reduce, we contribute, we regenerate, and we measure it.
Transparent. Costs, contributions received and payments to associations are public.
Who is behind Greencelium
The platform is designed and funded by THOT Computed, a studio building eco-designed websites in Vedène. A Greencelium association will take over to open the governance to members. In the meantime, anyone can contribute to its development.
