ISO 14001 (environmental management)
An international standard specifying requirements for an environmental management system: context, significant environmental aspects, compliance obligations, objectives and continual improvement. The ISO 14001:2026 edition, published in April 2026, opens a three-year transition. Certification, issued by a third-party body, attests to a management system, not to a level of performance.
